Its been a while!


So it's been a while since I wrote a devlog! Life goes on, traveling, working and looking after my family always come first.

But I am excited to say that I have made loads of progress with Puppet Master and it's almost at a point where I can release an early access build.

Things that have been added/updated

I have added a monetary system where you can earn crip-toe(I know!) through fighting and purchase upgrades for your character. You can also purchase ability bracelets that you can strategically place on your limbs. I say strategically because if you lose a limb with a bracelet attached to it you will lose it and need to repurchase it. These bracelets can be stacked which gives your player unique fighting abilities and you can tailor your character against certain enemies. I am super happy with this system and I believe it has added a new refreshing layer to the game loop. It's still far from complete though as I need to add more abilities and upgrades.

I have added a stage selection screen where you can see what stage/level and round you are on. I have added the character setup screen where you can upgrade your character and add abilities.

I have also branded my game with some super cool artwork and this can be seen on Puppet Master game page here on itch.
